Setting up a company in Dubai RAK - how much confidentiality?

Asked in Tax Avoidance for Ras Al Khaimah

If one set-up a limited company in RAK, only trading abroad, how much would the details of the owners of the company be protected?

In terms of disclosing information, if the tax authorities of a foreign country such as the UK requested information about which actual individuals were behind the set-up of a company, would the authorities in RAK provide this information to the tax bodies in the UK?

Thank you.

There is no public disclosure of either director or shareholder information. A court order would be required to disclose any information to 3rd parties.
