Pension and Dividend Taxation in Andorra
Asked in Offshore (General) for Andorra
If I bought a property in Andorra and retired there, what taxes would be levied on any share dividends or pension I receive whilst living in Andorra?
I don't think you'd pay anything...as there is no personal income tax there. Take a look at http://www.lowtax.net/lowtax/html/janpetx.html Kind regards Martin Katz www.martinkatz.im email firstname.lastname@example.org

Andorra has little taxes yes, but still very attractive!! The country has just recently had elections and the current political party in power does not really have any intention of fully joining the EU (They need to protect their own interests). A paradise in the heart of the EU. Hmmmm...buying property in Sark, beautiful unique little island, a must as a tourist destination yes, but if you buy property, it will never be yours, take note of the feudal system which is not exactly attractive in our modern times. Property can only be purchased as leasehold, you'll need permission to sell, and consider the fact that leases are for limited number of years. Quite frankly, if you have Andorra in mind, visit the place and speak to the locals (meaning passive residents...British, Scandinavian, South Africans, Australians ... and from other locations abroad, and you'll learn a great deal that is not ever mentioned on the internet)....I've been here well over 20 years, and this little country is awesome.
