Doing business with a FZE/FZCO

Asked in Offshore (General) for Dubai

To undertake a consulting services contract with a company established in a Dubai Free Zone, does it make sense - tax wise - to establish a branch in the same Free Zone? The mother company would not be based in the UAE. The branch would sign the consulting contract with the FZE/FZCO. Many thanks.

Depending on the Free Zone it does not make sense in terms of time/money spending. If the Free Zone you're talking about is like RAK or JebelAli it will be totally different (better). In case we can offer you some alternative. info@trust4trust.com Alex

It's really interesting because in Dubai there's no taxation. But I have sevral questions: Who are the countries which are going to be charged by the branch dubai? What is that these countries are going to accept invoices from a branch? Otherwise you can set up a branch Hong kong. Kind regards, Vincent
