Hi in order to know the formal status of said co. U can get in touch with the MI great Swiss office. Send them an email – and I believe for certain fees they will supply U with updated public MI info. zurich@register-iri.com

A certificate of good standing would even be available if a company is finacially inefficient, since they are only issued on behalf of the tax authorities or the companies register. Since there are very little requirements in these jurisdiction, I would consider it of no value in regards to your proposed transaction. I would rather try to obtain bank references, customer or prefessional references or if possible a credit check in any onshore destination the company is active in.
