can indian resident form a company in maritius

I am an India citizen want to set up a pvt ltd company in Maritius.
1) I want to know whether can I do this ?
2) I want to start an educational courses as well as trading activity related to agro inputs in Maritius --- in this case type of co. formation is suitable ?
3) Is there any requirement to have a Maritius resident person as a partner/ Director/shareholder ?

yes for local company, you need to have a local person. for setting up an offshore company, yes you can. you mail email me on neerajtobe@hotmail.com should you need further information.
