Sentient International, a privately owned group of independent corporate and trust service providers, is pleased to announce their Maltese operation has been granted its Corporate Services licence by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
Sentient International Limited (company no. C89239) can now offer corporate services under the Company Services Providers Act, 2013, expanding their offering in Malta to complement and mirror that of their other offices in the Isle of Man and Hong Kong.
The new licence forms part of the group's ongoing strategy to grow and expand the business as well as its service propositions. Over the last 18 months, Sentient International has gone from strength to strength - from a full management buyout, complete re-brand, the establishment of two new offices (Malta and Hong Kong) and the granting of two additional licences, the business has come a long way since its inception in 1985.
Group Managing Director, Paul Murtagh, said, "This is yet another integral step forward in our wider growth plans and will without doubt provide more opportunities and flexibility for our global client base.
"As a group, we continue to focus on providing the necessary platforms to develop the business across global markets and believe that having our licence in Malta will play a fundamental role in being able to achieve this.
"Malta continues to grow in popularity and is recognised by many as a proactive, well-regulated and business friendly jurisdiction - we are excited to see this part of the business grow and prosper over the coming months.
"There is much more to come from Sentient International. It remains an exciting time for us with various projects in the pipeline, some near completion - we cannot wait to share news of these very soon."
