Turks And Caicos To Cut Vehicle Import Taxation

The Turks and Caicos Government has decided to review trade taxes applying to imported vehicles.

In a May 6 statement, the Government confirmed that although there has not yet been a change to vehicle taxation, it is to instruct a consultant to consider future amendments.

According to the Government, there will be restrictions on the age of vehicles that can be imported and a reduction in the duty rates applicable to vehicle imports.

The Government confirmed that it will announce the duty change in advance of its implementation.
