St Kitts, Germany Agree To Exchange Tax Information

Caribbean territory Saint Kitts and Nevis (SKN) has completed its domestic ratification procedures in respect of a tax information exchange agreement with Germany.

The completion of the two territories' ratification procedures will bring the agreement into force and subsequently into effect.

Under the pact, the two territories will assist one another through the exchange of tax information on request.

SKN's Prime Minister, Timothy Harris, said the agreement demonstrates that the federation is a responsible member of the international community that believes in accountability, transparency, and good governance with other states.

He said that in an era where issues such as correspondent banking are topical subjects, ratifying this tax information exchange agreement becomes even more significant.
