Singapore's Ministry of Finance (MOF), in conjunction with REACH (reaching everyone for active citizenry@ home), is seeking suggestions from individuals and businesses on policies relating to taxes and public spending for inclusion in the 2014 Budget.
The public now have access to the REACH Budget 2014 feedback exercise website to give their views online or join the discussion forums on the forthcoming Budget. The feedback exercise runs from November 22, 2013 until January 29, 2014.
REACH has become the Government's lead agency for engaging and connecting with citizens, and it has now launched, with the MOF, the Listening Post, an open booth concept which allows the public to share their views on the Budget.
MOF and REACH welcome views and suggestions on issues that the public feels are relevant for Budget 2014. They will themselves, during the period of the consultation, be putting online various discussion topics that explore the different facets of the Budget.
