The Expo Park Bureau of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration has signed an agreement with Airbnb, an online home-rental marketplace, to jointly develop Shanghai's home-rental market.
Under the agreement, Airbnb will offer training and provide experience-sharing seminars to startups in the free trade zone. It will also work closely with the Expo Park Bureau to promote local tourism resources on its website and develop the short-term lease market by introducing its supervision system and standards.
The China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, which offers new companies a number of tax preferences, was founded in 2013 and comprises a bonded area, high-tech park, financial area, and export processing zone.
