An official government delegation from Scotland visited the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) in the United Arab Emirates on April 7, 2015, to explore areas of collaboration.
The areas of cooperation discussed during the visit were financial services, renewable energy, education, and tourism.
Essa Kazim, the Governor of the DIFC, said during the visit: "We are proud to host the delegation today and hope delegates found their visit to one of the most dynamic and open emerging economies helpful in strengthening the links between Dubai, the wider UAE, and Scotland."
