KIZAD Logistics City, the newly inaugurated warehousing hub within Abu Dhabi's low-tax Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD), has announced the launch of an "on-demand" warehousing solution.
In what is believed to be a first for the Middle East, KIZAD Logistics City is offering a pay-per-use model allowing customers to access world-class warehousing solutions while avoiding associated capital expense. All facilities can be booked on demand, without the need for long-term lease contracts, and are available for a range of business needs, starting from 10,000 square feet.
To add flexibility and convenience to the offering, customers receive full investor support from the Abu Dhabi government, and online bookings can be bundled with other services such as packing and unpacking, palletizing, and labeling.
KIZAD Logistics City is a new industrial area offering free zone and non-free zone warehousing solutions spanning over 1.3 million square feet (118,965 square meters), equivalent in size to about 17 soccer fields. Located within Abu Dhabi's low-tax Khalifa Industrial Zone, the City's free zone benefits include exemption from personal income tax, corporation tax, import and export taxes, no impediments to the transfer of capital, and 100 percent foreign ownership of companies operating in the City.
