Guernsey Updates Conduct Of Pensions Business Rules

by Jason Gorringe, Lowtax.net, London
29 August, 2017

Guernsey's financial services regulator, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, has released updated conduct of business rules for licensed pension scheme providers.

The rules take effect from August 29, 2017, and apply to all licensees in respect of pension schemes and gratuity schemes, unless specifically agreed otherwise by the Commission.

The rules are part of the regulatory and supervisory framework for the supervision of pension schemes and gratuity schemes. They also regulate licensees for the purposes of formation, management or administration of pension schemes and gratuity schemes, and the provision of advice in relation to these activities.
