Guernsey-based John Laing Environmental Assets Group (JLEN) Limited has been added to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) after an initial public offering securing GBP160m (USD267.6m).
The proceeds of the launch will be used for the acquisition of a number of renewable energy and waste-water treatment projects.
Darren Bacon, a partner of law firm Mourant Ozannes, which advised JLEN on its listing on the Main Market of the LSE, said: "This is another successful fund launch for Guernsey in the alternative assets space and Mourant Ozannes has been delighted to advise JLEN on all aspects of Guernsey law relating to the deal."
In addition to Mourant Ozannes's involvement, the Guernsey offices of Praxis Fund Services, Capita Registrars, Deloitte, and RBS International are the fund's administrator, registrar, auditor, and principal bankers, respectively.
