The International Stock Exchange (formerly the Channel Islands Securities Exchange) has approved the listing of its first Isle of Man-based firm since the exchange established operations in the territory.
IQE Securities, a wholly owned subsidiary of the international fiduciary services provider IQE Limited, is now authorized to arrange and sponsor listings of debt securities, investment vehicles, and trading companies on the Exchange.
Fiona Le Poidevin, CEO of the International Stock Exchange Group, said: "We launched our presence in the [Isle of Man] in March and so it is a great achievement for us to have the first member come on board so soon afterwards. This is another major milestone in the development of our business as it means that now listings can be facilitated directly from the Isle of Man, whether debt, investment vehicles, or trading companies."
The approval of IQE Securities follows the introduction of Channel Islands and Isle of Man segments to the Exchange's official list.
