The Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX) has appointed its first foreign listing agent, Channel Islands based Carey Group.
Carey Group can now offer clients the choice of listing on both the CISE (the Channel Islands Securities Exchange) and the CSX.
Carey Group are optimistic that because they are based in the same time zone as London they will have a significant advantage over other Cayman listing agents, all of which are in the Caribbean.
Carey Group has extensive experience of initial public offerings (IPOs) on both local and UK markets and was a founder member of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
Joe Truelove, Director of Carey Group, said: "We are now uniquely placed to offer clients a choice of two recognized stock exchange listings as well as providing complementary fund administration and company secretarial services."
Valia Theodoraki, Chief Executive Officer of the CSX, added: "We are very excited to have a CSX listing agent with the experience and expertise of Carey Group's team based in a European time zone."
