The British Virgin Islands (BVI) Government is to launch an e-Government website next month combining all government news and services into a single online portal. The move will be followed up in January with the addition of a payment gateway for Government services.
The new Government website is intended to benefit both locals and international investors by providing more effective online services and improving the efficiency of the Government's operations and customer service.
Government Director of Communications, Arliene Penn, said: "Currently, there are several different websites housed at different ministries, departments, and units. We want to ensure that Government has one official online presence, not many. We want one look and feel when navigating the website."
