Anguilla's 2016 Budget Includes Tax Hikes

The Government of the Caribbean territory Anguilla has announced a number of minor tax increases in the 2016 Budget.
In its first budget since being elected, the Anguilla United Front alliance announced that a petroleum gross revenue tax of 0.85 percent will be introduced.
In addition, the Marketing Levy will be hiked from XCD1 (USD0.37) to XCD3 per night per person for visitors to Anguilla; a Training Levy will be introduced, at 10 percent of a foreign workers' work permit fee; and the Communication Levy will be hiked from 10 percent to 15 percent.
