Anguilla To Grant Captive Licenses Faster

by Mike Godfrey, Lowtax.net, Washington
23 July, 2015

Anguilla has introduced a new fast track application process for captive insurers to obtain a license.

The Anguilla Financial Services Commission said the initiative is targeted at companies that are already licensed elsewhere. Details of the process can be found on the Government's website.

Anguilla has no corporate income tax or individual income tax. Employers pay social security contributions however. The territory relies on consumption-based taxes and asset taxes, such as the accommodation tax, annual property tax, the bank asset levy, and the embarkation tax (on persons exiting Anguilla).
