Representatives from Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) in the United Arab Emirates recently visited Moscow to highlight to investors the advantages of using the zone and its tax incentives.
Rishi Somaiya, the AFZ's Director of Sales, gave a detailed presentation to about a hundred members of the Russian business community and leading business media representatives. He pointed out the free zone's tax-free environment and the "fast and easy" procedures for registering a company in the zone.
Nader Eldesouky, the Deputy Director of AFZ, noted that business from Russia is already strong, being among the top-five countries in terms of investment flows for the zone.
The business incentives offered by the Zone, in Ajman, one of seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates, include total exemption from all import and export duties, and no personal or corporate income tax. 100 percent foreign ownership is permitted.
