Curaçao: Offshore Legal and Tax Regimes
Employment and Residence
This page was last updated on 3 September 2019.
A stay in Curaçao for work or residence requires residence and/or work permits, unless you are a long-time resident (more than 10 years). To apply for a residence permit, the applicant must visit the Governor's office in person; a good deal of personal, medical and financial information and documentation is required. Employers are responsible for applying for work permits; this can only be done after advertising a position in local newspapers and failing to fill it.
