Anguilla: Offshore Legal and Tax Regimes
Tax Treatment of Offshore Operations
There had been no taxation in Anguilla until a recently implemented stability measure. Employees are now required to pay 5 percent social security and 3 percent stabilization tax on their monthly salary, with this amount also being matched by employers.
Companies and partnerships must pay annual fees to Anguilla's Commercial Registry, but are exempt from corporation tax, capital gains tax, VAT or sales tax, and withholding tax. Anguilla also has statutes contain guarantees against the imposition of future taxes or expropriation.
