e-Incorporation of a Hong Kong Company

The Hong Kong incorporation process is not as difficult as you think. It can be done in only a few steps.
For a company limited by share, youll be required to file the following documents with the Companies Registry:
- Articles of Association
- NC1 together with Form IRBR1
- Cheque or cash for registration fee
The Companies Registry usually issues the certificate of incorporation within four days after submission of the incorporation documents. You can speed up the process by submitting the incorporation documents through e-Registry. The certificate of incorporation will certify that all registration requirement under Companies Ordinance have been fulfilled.
e-Incorporation
The Companies Registry in Hong Kong offers option of electronic incorporation. The e-Incorporation requires that all the directors and founder members are registered with the Companies Registry. All incorporation documents are submitted online and the certificate of incorporation and business registration certificate for companies limited by shares will be issued within 24 hours. For companies limited by guarantee, it may take up to 6 weeks. You can download both documents from the website.
Business Registration Certificate
The nature of business is not required to be completed at the incorporation stage in the form IRBR1 and will indicate CORP on the issued business certificate. However, the form IRBR193 needs to be competed and sent to the Business Registration Office. Upon receive of the form the Business Registration Office will issue a new Business Registration Certificate indicating the real nature of business of your company.
