- When the company name started with definite articles.

- When the company name ends up with these words or expressions, "company," "and company," "company limited," "and a company limited," "limited," "unlimited," and their abbreviations. and the ending characters "公司", "有限公司", "無限公司" and "公眾有限公司"
(For example - Sound of Music Company Limited = Sound of Music Limited = Sound of Music Co. Limited.)
- Punctuation marks, spaces between the letters, type or case of letters, and accent. (For example - Sound-of-Music Limited)
- The following expressions and words are usually considered as the same-
- "and" and "&."
- "Hong Kong," "Hongkong" and "HK"
- "The Far East" and "FE"
