If you have done business in the UAE you know there are a large number of Indians in the Emirates. India has the largest foreign community in the UAE and is one of their main trading partners. Furthermore, the two sides aim to increase bilateral trade by 60% over the next five years.

The entry point for this large volume trade is none other than Jebel Ali free zone. The numbers of Indian companies expanding in Jebel Ali has increased by 10% in the last year which is a great sign of business development.

"I receive inquiries almost daily from Indian companies looking to establish a business in Jebel Ali, which is without a doubt the optimal entry point for doing business in the Middle East" said our business advisor Petar Chakarov.

Today, Jebel Ali is home to more than 800 leading Indian companies and hundreds more from other major economies such as South Korea. The reasons for choosing JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone) include:

  1. Full 100% foreign ownership is allowed in comparison to UAE mainland;
  2. JAFZA is home to the largest man-made harbor with top class infrastructure;
  3. The harbor offers one of the cheapest and most cost-efficient operational costs;
  4. Opening and maintaining quality corporate bank account in JAFZA is easy and straightforward.
