This December, 2015, Jerusalem and Hong Kong establish joint funding project which not only will boost scientific research exchange, but also will bring new business opportunities for both countries.
The main goal of this project is to cooperatively fund industrial R&D projects which have been approved by both The Office of the Chief Scientist at the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, and the Innovation & Technology Commission (ITC) in Hong Kong.
Joint funding will be provided for multiple participating companies and partners from both Israel and Hong Kong, boosting FDI and foreign interest in these two countries.

He also confirmed that the program has great business potential and can be fertile ground for strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
