Another mixed bunch of articles about QROPS and a bit about QNUPS. Again the main focus is on giving information with a few updates in addition.
The main news is that despite the prophets of gloom, there was no further punitive activity against QROPS in the latest UK Budget. The main update was about the 55% taxation of Singapore QROPS members by HMRC. This has been going on for a long time, but the message is caveat emptor choose selectively and carefully, and if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Dubai had its fair share in the global downturn. Real estate prices plummeted and many expatriates had to leave the UAE but for those still here it is a much more pleasant place to be. Aside from the lower rental and property prices, there are less people, less traffic jams, a clean metro, 40 Mbps fiber optics internet connections, and last but not least: freezones competing for business.
