QROPS Bulletin July 2011
Contributed by SIPP Specialists Limited
13 July, 2011
A less frenetic month for QROPS articles and certainly far less of the doom and gloom variety. The big news seems to be the confirmation of HMRC approving the new IOM 50C legislation, including our new product. There are a couple of cautionary articles about NZ QROPS, where the Regulator seems prepared to name and shame.
Elsewhere, there is an explanation of the proposed UK residency test and speculation about the end of UK higher rate tax relief for contributions. Watch this space.
As usual we need to make clear we are QROPS Providers in IOM and offer products on Guernsey, Malta, and Gibraltar. We also provide other international pension products. See www.sippspecialists.co.im and www.sipco.co.im.
We neither agree with nor endorse theses articles, and played no part in writing them. We just thought they were the most interesting of this months batch.
Dont hesitate to contact us if youd like to discuss any QROPS issues, or contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
