As a Canadian registered company conducting all business overseas, no business in the home country whatsoever. The business is engineering services. These services are provided for off shore projects, experts are hired from off shore. Which off shore tax optimisation structure would be best suited and considered credible as well.

For the purposes of credibility, you may wish to utilise a Delaware based LLC. It will be necessary to appoint a Nominee Manager (Director) and I would suggest appoint a Trust to act as Member on your behalf so that the Canadian IRS cannot claim that you have ownership and control of the organisation from within Canada and then tax you on it's profits. The Delaware Company would generally bank in another none EU or US country for privacy as you would have control of the banking facility. This will enable you to operate globally from your location only coming into contact with Canadian IRS when funds are withdrawn on a personal basis from the company, this being due to your personal residential status. If income becomes very significant you may then wish to look at becoming personally resident in a low tax jurisdiction or utilising further methods of funds repatriation that will not involve you in local taxation. Feel free to contact us to discuss in more detail on enquiries@turnerlittle.com or via our web site at www.turnerlittle.com

We normally suggest New Zealand Ltd with a New Zeland Offshore Trust on top. This allow you protection and tax saving. Just in case: info@trust4trust.com Alex
