Malta FSC Signs MoU With Vietnam

The Malta Financial Services Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Financial Supervisory Commission of Vietnam to strengthen cooperation in the areas of banking, securities, and insurance.
The MoU provides for the exchange of information and the provision of technical and investigative assistance between the two authorities.
The MFSA is Malta's sole regulator of financial services activities. It is responsible for credit and financial institutions, investment, trust and insurance business and also houses the island's Companies Registry.
The National Financial Supervisory Commission of Vietnam was established in 2008 and regulates the banking, securities, and insurance sectors.
