Guernsey is again the number one domicile for non-UK entities listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Data recently released by the LSE shows that there were 124 Guernsey-incorporated entities listed on the Main Market and Alternative Investment Market (AIM) at the end of 2016. This was 40 more than its nearest competitor Jersey with 82.
Guernsey added nine new entities to the LSE markets during 2016, which is the same number as its two nearest competitors combined, excluding the UK.
In total, Guernsey has 91 non-UK entities listed on the Main Market of the LSE and is home to 33 entities listed on AIM. In addition, Guernsey is the market leader in terms of the number of non-UK "Equity Investment Instruments" – the majority of investment funds – listed on the LSE with 74.
