Slovenia: Law of Offshore
Law on Free Zones
The Economic Zones Act came into force on January 1, 2002, and determines the conditions and method for establishing Free Zones in Slovenia.
Free Zones are separate warehouses and storage areas where goods can be stored apart from other goods. The purpose of Free Zones is to ensure customs control when goods are brought into the free customs zone. In the free customs zone, goods are usually used freely without any payment of duties.
