Anguilla: Types of Company
Limited Liability Companies
Anguilla’s Limited Liability Company Ordinance has its roots in the original Wyoming legislation although the model has been expanded in Anguilla, most notably in that company duration can be perpetual in Anguilla. Anguillian LLC members make a contribution (which can include cash, property, services rendered, or a promissory note) in return for limited ownership rights. Interim distributions may be made, but the major benefit is derived from the final dividend on dissolution of the LLC.
This model provides the advantage of income and losses passing through its members. As with all Anguillian companies, Limited Liability Companies are exempt from taxation, whether on assets, income, dividends or distributions.
