Anguilla: Types of Company
International Business Companies
Companies incorporated in overseas jurisdictions may continue their activity in Anguilla as an International Business Company. IBCs are restricted from conducting business with Anguillian residents, and may not act as banks, trusts, insurers, or provide company management services.
Online registration is available, which can allow for almost instant incorporation. Alternately, a two-page form is required for registration and the process can take 24 hours. Only one director and shareholder are required for incorporation, and these may either be the same person or a corporate body. There is no requirement to appoint an Anguillian resident as director or shareholder.
