I am thinking of importing a commercial sailing yacht to be used with a captain for charter in the Canary Islands. She has paid VAT.
What taxes are due in the Canary Islands as I am getting conflicting reports.
I intend to keep a British flag, and also the company that owns the yacht is in the BVI's.
I can not find any definitive answer

My wife and child of three would like to live for a few years in Spain but we are concerned with the potential tax consequences. All our money we earn is in America. We plan to live on approximately $40,000 per year. What would we expect to pay in taxes to Spain?
